Clutter Busting
HELP!! I can’t afford a Professional Organizer
You’ve seen those de-cluttering makeover shows on television, but instead of inspiration, it causes you frustration. What to do when you are overwhelmed, overworked, out of time, and out of cash?

Has clutter caused you stress and sadness in your life? Please don't feel ashamed about your situation. I do not follow the belief that clutter is simply caused by laziness. Ask The Organizer:
Dear Betsy,
How would a professional organizer view storing out-of-season clothing? I have a small closet and dresser and with all of my clothing in my bedroom/closet for 4 seasons, my closets and drawers seem packed. Half or more of the items can only be worn for part of the year: shorts, bathing suits, heavy sweaters and sweatshirts, flannel pajamas, winter boots, sandals, etc. What is your take on this? Should I seasonally store the unused items?
Jamie, PA
